WHO CAN APPLY?
The Internship is for those who have a passion for God, the church and mission. Applicants are generally over 21 but we welcome everyone from students and graduates to people on career-breaks and retirees – anybody looking to grow in God, develop their gifts and serve a local church.
Applications for September 2017-2018 are now open, so please get in touch via the Contact page to register your interest.
Total cost for the year is £1,350 which includes regular residential training and a week abroad at one of our sister churches. The course fee may be partly or wholly covered by the department where you undertake your project. We want to train and invest into people who God is calling.
The internship requires that you are based in the Brighton area with a 3-4 day mid-week availability, as well as attending Church of Christ the King on Sunday. The internship is a voluntary year, and we leave space for interns to work a part-time job in Brighton, which we strongly encourage.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
As spaces are limited, unfortunately we cannot take on everyone who applies. However, we will prayerfully consider every application and where appropriate, meet with you personally to help decide if this is the right year for you. Please get in touch using the Apply page.
